The Department of Physiotherapy executed a strategic public health initiative at Horamavu Junction to mitigate traumatic head injuries through community-based education. Students and faculties utilized interactive demonstrations to advocate for ISI-standard safety gear and trained commuters in critical first-response protocols for road emergencies. This collaboration with the Banaswadi Traffic Police successfully bridged the gap between clinical expertise and public safety, reinforcing the vital role of physiotherapists in preventative community welfare.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Banaswadi Traffic Police for their exemplary coordination and professional support, which were instrumental in the seamless execution of our Head Injury Awareness initiative. Their commitment to public safety and collaborative spirit transformed a busy transit hub into a powerful platform for life-saving education.
