Bengaluru, August 17, 2026: Garden City University, in association with the Tata Institute for Genetics and Society (TIGS), Bengaluru, is organizing “Genetics deCoded”, an engaging science outreach programme designed to make the fascinating world of genetics accessible, interactive, and enjoyable for students and the public.
The day-long event will be held on 17 August 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at Garden City University, Bengaluru.
Genetics deCoded is a flagship public engagement initiative of TIGS that promotes genetic literacy by bringing together scientists, educators, students, and science enthusiasts on a common platform. The programme combines scientific knowledge with creativity and hands-on learning through expert interactions, games, competitions, and interactive activities. Previous editions have featured scientist interactions, genetics-themed games, demonstrations, and creative competitions to make genetics relatable and engaging.
