The NSS Unit of Garden City University organized an awareness program to educate students about the adverse effects of excessive consumption of sugar-based foods and beverages on human health. As part of the initiative, informative and visually engaging posters were displayed across the university food court to highlight hidden sugars in commonly consumed items and their link to lifestyle diseases such as obesity and diabetes. NSS volunteers actively interacted with students, creating meaningful discussions around mindful eating and healthier food choices. The agenda of the program was to promote nutritional awareness among youth and encourage a shift toward healthier dietary habits on campus.
