11 September 2025: The School of Media Studies at Garden City University proudly concluded its Production-Oriented Acting Workshop with a grand finale performance titled Unfinished Revolution, staged at the GCU Auditorium. The 10-day intensive workshop was designed to equip students with practical skills in acting, stagecraft, and performance through a series of immersive sessions.
Drawing inspiration from the life and works of the revolutionary Tamil poet Subramanya Bharati, the final production seamlessly combined acting, voice training, movement, improvisation, and stage presentation. The play captivated the audience and received resounding appreciation from faculty, students, and the larger GCU community.
The workshop was led by Dr. Binu Kumar L, whose expertise and mentorship enriched the training. His sessions blended technical rigor with creative exploration, guiding students to refine their artistic expression and stage presence. Under his guidance, participants not only enhanced their acting abilities but also developed teamwork, confidence, and discipline—key attributes for theatre and beyond.
