Bass Club hosted an electrifying and insightful plant-powered trance musical workshop by inviting Mr Tritone Crisantemo (Masterplants Orchestra) 150 students from various departments and students from Bass Club attended the workshop.
The workshop provided participants with an immersive, hands-on introduction to plant music. Under the guidance of Mr Tritone Crisantemo from Masterplants, a leader in this technology with a record of over 70 international installations, attendees engaged directly with proprietary bio-sensing equipment. The session was structured to educate participants on the scientific principles behind capturing bioelectric data and the methodological process of translating these signals into structured musical scales and rhythms. The primary activity involved attendees collaborating to create a unique, live-generated musical piece derived from the real-time electrophysiological feedback of plants.
Participants gained a foundational understanding of the intersection between botany, technology, and music composition. Attendees also actively participated in a live co-creation process, resulting in a unique auditory experience that fosters a deeper, more intuitive connection with the natural world. The workshop was designed to shift perspectives, encouraging participants to consider new paradigms for human-environment interaction and to become ambassadors for this emerging form of ecological artistry.
