The Career Guidance and Placement Office (CGPO) of Garden City University (GCU), in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), is organizing the Internship Drive 2025 on Friday, 31st October 2025, from 10:00 AM onwards at the GCU OMR Campus. This university-wide initiative is an integral part of the mandatory internship programme for all final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students, whose internships commence on November 20, 2025.
The event aims to connect students with reputed industry partners, offering opportunities that align with their academic specializations and career goals. More than 80 leading companies from diverse sectors—Computer Science, Forensic Science, Media Studies, Fashion, Management, Life Sciences, Physiotherapy, and Psychology—are expected to participate, providing a robust platform for students to explore and secure meaningful internship opportunities.
As part of the preparation, the CGPO has planned a series of pre-drive orientation sessions to help students enhance their resumes, develop interview skills, and gain insights into employer expectations. On the day of the event, on-spot counseling support will also be available to assist students during their interactions with recruiters.
The Internship Drive 2025 reflects GCU’s commitment to holistic education and its guiding motto, “Emphasis on Life.” By bridging the gap between classroom learning and professional experience, the drive aims to enhance career readiness, foster industry-academia collaboration, and pave the way for internship-to-placement opportunities, reinforcing GCU’s mission of nurturing competent, industry-ready graduates through experiential learning.
