The Department of Hospitality and Catering Technology, Garden City University, successfully organized an Industry Interaction Session titled “Unlocking Luxury: Insights from Les Clefs d’Or” on 05 March 2026 at Room No. 233for the students of II, IV, and VI Semesters. The session was conducted by Mr. Naseem Ahmad and Mr. Clebhert Pinto, distinguished professionals associated with Les Clefs d’Or, who shared their valuable industry knowledge and practical insights into concierge services within the luxury hospitality sector.
The session focused on introducing students to the significant role played by concierge professionals in delivering exceptional guest experiences in luxury hotels. The speakers explained the history, importance, and global recognition of Les Clefs d’Or, the prestigious international association of professional hotel concierges. They highlighted how concierge professionals act as an essential link between the hotel and its guests by providing personalized services, local recommendations, travel arrangements, and exclusive experiences tailored to guest preferences.
During the session, the speakers elaborated on the key responsibilities and day-to-day functions of a hotel concierge. They emphasized the importance of professionalism, effective communication, networking, and comprehensive knowledge of the local destination.
