The Department of Yoga organized a yoga session titled ‘Mind–Body Interface Through Yoga’ with the objective of promoting holistic well-being among the Samsung Seed Lab team. The session focused on fostering mental clarity, emotional balance, and physical relaxation through guided yogic practices. Participants who were 24 in number were introduced to basic asanas, breathing techniques, and mindfulness exercises designed to enhance concentration, reduce stress, and improve overall productivity. The serene ambience and structured guidance encouraged active participation and helped students experience the integrative benefits of yoga on both mind and body. The programme was well received and created awareness about the relevance of yoga in maintaining balance amidst academic and personal pressures.
The purpose of the programme was to promote mental wellness, physical fitness, and emotional equilibrium among students, while encouraging the practice of yoga as a sustainable lifestyle habit for improved focus, creativity, and overall well-being. The event also aimed to help computer users counter the physical strain of prolonged screen time by improving posture, reducing eye and muscle fatigue, and enhancing sustained concentration and cognitive endurance.
